Denbies Vineyard Trip
The group members took a trip to Denbies Vineyard in Surrey. We were well rewarded with glorious weather, which made the trip into the vineyards breathtaking, as the views were magnificent and the commentary from the tour guide was very interesting. We managed to watch them harvest the grapes by machine.
After the vineyard tour, we watched a film about the process that the grapes went through, from the harvesting through to the final bottling plant and finally labelling. We could not have asked for a nicer day!
Happy 10th Birthday Breathe Easy Spelthorne!
Breathe Easy Spelthorne celebrated their 10th Anniversary with a fabulous Garden Fete and Cream Tea in June! They had a whole variety of stalls including plants and cakes for sale, a tombola, a treasure hunt, a Name the Monkey competition, a lucky dip and they were also joined by an Irish dancing troupe and a Barber shop quartet. The day was very enjoyable and around £100 was raised for the group.
