More about the group

All change!

Breathe Easy Southwark is changing the date, time and location of their monthly meeting. From June, they will be meeting on the last Tuesday of the month in the church opposite their old venue, Dulwich Library. There is a lovely café that they can meet in for the first part of their meeting, making it a very friendly and informal affair. The meeting will then move into another room where speakers will give talks on a whole host of issues in the latter part of the meeting.

Why not join them for a chat and a cup of coffee from 11am in the café this month?Southwark 25th Anniverasary 10

Marella O'Sullivan, Development Officer for London opened the afternoon and presented a surprise British Lung Foundation ten year award to BE Southwark. Bill Dakin BE Southwark's committee member recieved the award on behalf of the group.

BE Southwark 10th Anniversary

Happy 10th Birthday BE Southwark!

BE Southwark celebrated our 10th birthday in March with a celebration lunch at the Harvester restaurant. The committee, along with members who either attended the group since it started or who have recently joined, enjoyed a celebration lunch and drinks.
The group hosts a regular attendance of 20 members per month and encourages new members to take part in their activities and Southwark's "Healthy Walks in the Park" organized by Chairman Frank Vissicchio.
Committee member Bill Dakin says of the group's inception "This is all because of Dennis Molloy, the original founder of BE Southwark, who gave the confidence and inspiration and knowledge to find information through the British Lung Foundation".
