More about the group
5th Birthday Celebrations!
Breathe Easy Horsham & Crawley celebrated our 5th birthday on 13 April with a COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) awareness event.
We were joined by Keith Wilkins (Chairman of the Horsham District Council), Henry Smith (West Sussex County Council), Brenda Burgess (Mayor of Crawley) and members of the public. We were also joined by the community respiratory team and Air Liquide gave demonstrations of the various products they can provide for people who require oxygen.
The group's chairman John Hore spoke about how much Breathe Easy Horsham & Crawley has come on over the last five years and Ashley Green (from the British Lung Foundation) spoke about the work of the BLF.
In the photo above, the group was presented with a certificate in recognition of our hard work. (Photo courtesy of West Sussex County Times.)
