Skylark Air Show
In September, Breathe Easy Fenland held a fundraising and awareness stall at the Skylark Vintage Country and Air Show near March, Cambridgeshire.
The group put a lot of preparation into the day and organised a raffle, lucky dip, hook-a-duck and 'wine or water?' game to raise funds. They also gave out leaflets and were interviewed throughout the day by Radio Cambridge.
Members of the group are pictured by their stall, complete with a very eye-catching red gazebo!
Presentation of Three Nebulisers
The group was sad to learn of the unexpected death of the husband of one of our members. The money donated by his mourners was bequeathed to the Brethe Easy group - an amazing £1,200. Some of the money was put towards the rent of the hall where the group meet and will now help to cover this for two years. Another part of the money was used to purchase three nebulisers, inscribed in Mike's memory, which were donated to Doddington Hospital. These can now be used "in the field" by the nurses.
