More about the group

Celebrating their success this Christmas
BE Camden celebrated another successful year at their Christmas party on the 20th of December. Joan, chairperson for the group, said “We had a quiz to test our brains, some nibbles and a raffle with loads of prizes which we all contributed to. There was lots of laughs and fun and everyone had a good time.”
COPD Awareness Event Success
On 11 June, BE Camden organised an event at the "Wellcome Collection", which was put on in conjunction with the Camden PCT in order to raise awareness and provide support for those with COPD.
Activtities on the day included: one-to-ones with a GP, Thai Chi sessions, talks by Dr Noemi Eiser from the British Lung Foundation on COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and Dr Helen Booth, UCLH Chest Consultant on pulmonary rehabilitation. Lunch was provided with free tours of the exhibition on 'skin'. Attendees found the day to be informative and helpful and the following week a number of those that came to the event, came along to BE Camden's meeting!
Christmas Party
Members from Breathe Easy Camden and the Health Care Professional along with Marella O’Sullivan of the British Lung Foundation attended Camden’s Christmas Party at the Charlie Ratchford Centre in Chalk Farm on Tuesday 21 December. Among the plentiful food on offer, there was opportunity for everyone to win from the raffle and the quiz that took place.
