Respiratory Exercise Classes in York
Chronic Respiratory Disease Exercise (CRDE) classes are specially designed for people with lung conditions. In 2011, the BLF funded local fitness instructor Emma Moore to train to give CRDE classes. Breathe Easy York and Harrogate Sponsored Step
Typical British weather didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of Breathe Easy York and Breathe Easy Harrogate on the occasion of their sponsored step in August. Event organisers decided to hold the step in Harrogate Hospital’s physiotherapy gym rather than on the sodden Stray outside. Yorkgroup joined with members from BE Harrogate and supported by the whole respiratory team at the hospital. A magnificent £848.50 was raised by both groups and organiser Maggie Cowman not only arranged for the hospital radio to cover the event but fish and chips for everyone afterwards.
