More about the group
Breathe Easy Harrogate Sponsored Step
Typical British weather didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of BE Harrogate on the occasion of their sponsored step in August. Event organisers decided to hold the step in Harrogate Hospital’s physiotherapy gym rather than on the sodden Stray outside. The group were joined by members from BE York and supported by the whole respiratory team at the hospital. A magnificent £848.50 was raised by both groups and organiser Maggie Cowman not only arranged for the hospital radio to cover the event but fish and chips for everyone afterwards.
Breathe Easy Harrogate - Founder Chairman retires
Ken Haw, Chairman of Breathe Easy Harrogate has retired after more than 10 years service. Margaret Tait was invited on behalf of the group to thank Ken and his wife, Irene, for their hard work and commitment to BE and the BLF. The photograph shows Ken with his successor Maggie Cowman. Ken and his family remain dedicated members of the group and will do everything they can to support Maggie in her new role.
