There are 28 Breathe Easy groups across the region, which provide help, information and support to those
living with lung disease, their friends, family and carers. Groups get involved with many activities from
awareness raising to
fundraising. Group members enjoy regular meetings with a variety of speakers. There is plenty of opportunity for a cup of tea and a chat. Most groups organise a couple of outings each year. Raising awareness of lung disease in their community is very important. With support from the BLF, groups campaign with their MP and in local media to improve local and national services.
