BOFAA Winner
Congratulations to BE Grantham who won two 2010-11 Breath of Fresh Air Awards: one for Outstanding Service Over 5 Years, and one for Outstanding Contributions to BLF Projects. The group donated £1,000 towards research and the BLF support network. Irene Webb (Chair) and Pat Scott (Treasurer) collected the awards from Jeremy Bacon (Midlands Support and Development Manager) at the Lincoln network meeting. Group update
Breathe Easy Grantham will celebrate their sixth birthday in October. The group is regularly attended by a healthcare professional. Group members promote the group at Pulmonary Rehab and they receive referrals of new members from healthcare professionals. New members are given an introductory leaflet and a follow up letter. The group’s activities this year have included a BE Week tombola stall, a trip to the Lincolnshire Wolds, and a fundraising Garden Party.
