fundraising stand

The grand surroundings of Grimsthorpe Castle combined with a beautiful sunny day set the scene for BE Sleaford’s latest fund raising event. BE Sleaford joined a number of charities and organisations for the Family Festival, organised by the St John Ambulance. There was also a steady stream of visitors to the Tombola – encouraged by Peter dressed as a Mexican making everyone laugh with his Mexican wave, and Paul in a fetching red and white ‘Sonic the hedgehog’ outfit! The book stall offered a vast selection to suit all tastes and there were lots of bargains for avid readers.

The group’s stand raised £193 for the group. Many of the thousands of visitors at the event visited the stand and found out more about the group and support it offers to those affected by a lung condition. BBC Lincoln was at the event and as a result BE Sleaford are hoping to be interviewedPaul Underwood, collecting money for BE Sleaford for its morning show.
