All Welcome To Open Afternoon
On Tuesday 8 May 2012, BE North West Leicestershire will hold an open afternoon. Members new and old are warmly invited to come along for a friendly chat and to find out more about the group. There will be a cake stall, tombola, raffle, book stall, bric-a-brac and refreshments. The event takes place at 1:30pm at The Labour Club, Bridge Road, Coalville, LE67 3PW.
Awareness stand
Breathe Easy North West Leicestershire held an information stand at the launch of Coalville Library's new health information section and spoke to around 35 people. Jeremy and Becky from the Midlands team went along to help out on the stand. The launch was a great opportunity to raise awareness of COPD and to promote Breathe Easy in the local community.
Breathe Easy North West Leicestershire donate exercise equipment
Members of Breathe Easy North West Leicestershire gathered at Margaret Street Church Centre, Coalville to present the local pulmonary rehabilitation team with a donation of exercise equipment. The group were able to purchase this equipment thanks to donations from Mary Gidlow, whose husband Chris was a member of the group.
The equipment was presented to Alex Woodward, Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist, Leicestershire County & Rutland PCT, who thanked Mrs Gidlow and Breathe Easy North West Leicestershire for the equipment.
