It Consortium comprises consultant lung specialists, primary health care professionals, industry representatives from both drug and device companies, the British Lung Foundation, and marketing and research specialists.

LTCA

LTCA is the umbrella body for national voluntary organisations in the UK working to meet the needs of people with long-term health conditions.

LTCA works to ensure that people affected by long-term conditions have access to the services and support they need and can be active participants in determining their care.

LTCA was formed in 1989 by a group of national voluntary organisations that wanted to campaign on areas of shared concern relating to long-term conditions. LTCA now has over 100 member organisations, from the largest health charities down to small unfunded support groups staffed by volunteers.

Smoking Control Network

The Smoking Control Network is a collaboration of leading British health charities and commercial and professional organisations, which work together to reduce the deaths and disability caused by smoking related diseases.

It aims to promote smoking cessation policies and to campaign for strong government action to help smokers give up.

The UK Lung Cancer Coalition (UKLCC)

The United Kingdom Lung Cancer Coalition (UKLCC) is a powerful partnership of leading lung cancer experts, senior NHS and Department of Health professionals, charities and healthcare companies. The UKLCC is the nation’s largest multi-interest group in lung cancer and this is the first time all the interested parties have joined together to give people with lung cancer a true voice.

The British Lung Foundation is a founding member and provides the secretariat for this group.
