British Lung Foundation statement on potential health risk posed by printers

Commenting on research suggesting particles emitted by printers pose a health risk, British Lung Foundation spokesperson Dr Emrys Evans says:

“It sounds like interesting research, but we would need to see the full report to evaluate it properly.

“Most of us spend 90 percent of our time indoors, so it is important to ensure that the air we breathe is as clear and unpolluted as possible and to that end offices should always be kept well ventilated.

“More work needs to be done in this field before any firm conclusions can be drawn.”
