The British Lung Foundation is paying tribute to television presenter Jeremy Beadle, who has died of pneumonia aged 59.

The TV prankster was best known for hosting shows such as ‘You’ve Been Framed’ but also helped raise money for the BLF.

“We were very saddened to hear of Jeremy’s death and would like to pay tribute to all the work he has done to help those affected by lung disease,” says Dame Helena Shovelton, Chief Executive of the British Lung Foundation.

“Jeremy was an enthusiastic supporter of the British Lung Foundation and his generosity was very much appreciated.”

Mr Beadle took part in the BLF’s Celebrity Golf Days and was very supportive behind the scenes.

About 1 in every 100 people will get pneumonia in the United Kingdom every year and about 1 in 20 of those will die from it.
