For the second year running, the British Lung Foundation is holding a series of autumn conferences at locations throughout the UK. The theme of the conferences this year is ‘Taking control of your lung health with the BLF’ – these one-day events are open to anyone with respiratory disease and their carers.
Each conference features keynote speakers, including the BLF’s Dame Helena Shovelton, local NHS leaders and experts in respiratory medicine. There are also smaller sessions on specific topics like taking control with your GP, medication, oxygen services, breathing, self-managing your disease and benefits. There will be opportunities to ask questions of the speakers and panelists, and learn more about the work of the BLF.
The conferences are being held in September through November and the venues are easily accessible with ample parking. Places are limited and allocated on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis, so book today! The minimal conference fee is £5 and goes towards covering the cost of lunch and refreshments. Please contact your nearest BLF office to book a place.
