First Minister strides out for lung disease and takes part in the annual South Wales Evening Post Swansea Bay Stroll. This year Rhodri Morgan was joined by Chairman of the BLF in Wales, Dr Emrys Evans. Along with many others they strode out on the beautiful water's edge of Swansea, ending up at Knab Rock.
The LungsRUs team complete the 42-mile Mid Wales Walk and raise almost £2,000 for lung disease.
Doctors Gareth Collier, Emrys Evans, Mat Jones and Neil McAndrew battled against torrential rain and gale-force winds to complete the challenging course. Encouraging them on was the thought that they were raising vital funds for the work of the British Lung Foundation in Wales.
Swansea Bay Business Club raises well over £2,000 for the BLF, the Evening Post's charity of the year. Chris Mulholland, Head of BLF Wales, said she was grateful to everyone who helped raise such a magnificent sum and thanked everyone concerned.
