Author Greta Barnes is donating all the proceeds from her new book, ‘What can I do now Granny?’ to the British Lung Foundation.
This delightful hardback book, beautifully illustrated by Paul Davies, will entertain children and their grannies alike. Greta tells us to unplug the computer, turn off the television and throw away the mobile phone. In their place she comes up with 22 great ideas for keeping grandchildren everywhere occupied and entertained. And none of them involve electronics!
In her foreword to the book, world-renowned actress Dame Judi Dench says: "This is a book to treasure. It reminds us of all the things we used to do with our own children before television took over, and it will keep you and your grandchildren entertained for hours."
The book costs £9.99 per copy, plus £2.00 post and packing, with proceeds going to the British Lung Foundation.
